For Packaging:
Packaging PSAs are applied as adhesive tape or as a coating directly on packaging. To ensure that they can withstand a high degree of stress when exposed to heat or frost, or when used as displays, etc., we use special raw materials, and during development we apply rheological testing methods. Our different PSAs feature a high degree of bond strength with excellent cohesion despite relatively low viscosity. Planatol also offers thermoplastic adhesives with ideal properties for resealable closures.
For Labels:
Planatol offers low-viscosity PSAs for producing labels. These can ideally be processed at high machine speeds, low coating temperatures and on heat-sensitive materials. They provide a variety of bonding options: permanent to residual-free and removable, soft to firm, low to high melting points. Our product range also includes photostable formulations, skin-friendly adhesives and adhesives ideal for PET bottles. This ensures that we have the right adhesive for practically any situation.
