Series 7 ™ by Arne Jacobsen is the best-selling chair in Fritz Hansen's history and perhaps also in furniture history. The molded fun chair is an evolution of the classic Ant ™ (ant) chair. The four-legged stacking chair can be seen as the culmination of the plywood technique - a technique developed by the grandson of the founder Fritz Hansen and further developed to perfection in the 1920s and 1930s by Soren Hansen. The visionary Arne Jacobsen used the possibilities of lamination to achieve a perfect result that gave the chair its iconic shape.
