In 1958, from the vision of the Moreschi family, COFEMO was born. A company that was soon specializing in aluminum high pressure die casting and components for office furniture.
The core business focused quickly on manufacturing a large range of bases for chairs, but also ergonomical mechanisms and accessories such as armrests, backrests and seats.
The great success of the company during the years has brought COFEMO to its current factory location, where machinery, industrial floor space and offices have extended in line with the volume of business. The growth is also enhanced from the continuous investment in technology and skilled expertise that are the main ingredients of streamlined processes, and a high quality manufacturing standard.
Several years ago COFEMO was certified ISO 9001/2000 and is pursuing a total quality methodology, which can be attained by reaching some of the following milestones:

- recognizing and emphasizing the value and responsibility of people within the company
- proactive involvement of subcontractors in continuous improvement programs
- streamlining and control of processes
- respect of laws and rules

COFEMO is sensitive to all possible procedures and technology to reduce the impact of its production and its final product on the environment. We are therefore using ñ in the greatest possible portion ñ recycled materials, subsequently recyclable in large percentages at the end of the life cycle.
