In recent years, the furniture industry has begun to attach increasing importance to the quality of the edgeband used. In edgeband-chipboard matches, not only in the sense of design but also in structure and brightness levels, compliant and better edgeband requirements force edgeband producers to adapt to it and to improve their production.
Rome has become one of the few companies that can realize this expectation and has been working on different structures in the direction of market demands for the last few years. At the moment, Rome has a variety of surface finishes that fit perfectly with the décor and surfaces of the European panel manufacturers at their edge. It offers over 25 architectural alternatives to Standard Sandy Patterns, Milling Surfaces, Toothbrushes, Lares Surface, Deep Textures, Granite Prints and Textile Effects.
Structures that can be produced in all sizes from 0.40 mm to 2 mm can be applied to all our products, from shiny sidebands to transparent sidebands. With special embossing rollers brought from Germany, the structures produced by giving different surface finishes to the product during manufacturing provide a natural and modern appearance in the materials used.
The Roman R & D team continues to work on new surface finishes and is preparing to introduce new structures to meet the complex demands of European markets for the coming year. Click to see all structures.
