Roman Glass Marbles began production in 2008 and has proven its success since then. It is made from Polymethyl Matacrylate, PMMA, and is known as Acrylic Edge Bands. It is a high quality and durable thermoplastic material with glass appearance and is the most suitable for transparent applications. Roma Glass combines the transparency of this thermoplastic material with the quality of premium decor. The printed patterns are protected by a transparent surface, so that continuous angles are obtained. Alternatively, with its high gloss finishes, the Roman Glass creates a simple elegance that can be reached with the edgeband.
The double-color Roman Doppia Marbles have been laced a year later and help create a real glass look on the edges of furniture units. The real glass appearance on the furniture surfaces quickly replaced the shiny foil and the colored acrylic so there was a great demand for Roman Doppia Marbles to complete the real glass look. While gloss finishes are offered as standard in Roman Doppia, matte finishes on the surface can also be produced to provide excellent color transition on laminate and decorative panels.
Roma Plastik, which added another new product to PMMA Collection in 2011, presented Acrimarc Marbles, which is just a bright mirror in the middle. This stylish product also creates a nostalgic effect reminiscent of the craze of chrome, where the 70s are practiced almost everywhere, especially in car chrome finishes. Roman Acrimarc border bands have a wide range of colors, from vivid plain colors to shiny veneered wood designs.
All PMMA collections have become an important alternative to traditional ABS / PVC marbles with different and attractive variants.
