Thin Edgebanding

is offered in standard refinements such as pre-glued, sanded, as well as backfleeced, sanded. Standard widths include 24, 34, 42 and 48 mm (US 7/8“, 1 3/8“, 1 1/2“, 1 3/4“), other widths are produced upon request. Rolls areavailable in lengths of 5, 25, 50, 100 and 200 lm (US 328ft, 500ft).

We stock over 50 different woodspecies for the manufacturing of veneerbanding at all times. Upon request we also do commission processing. We also offer pre-finished veneers, see pre-finished edgebanding.

Reconstituted Veneers

A variety of decors are alwaysin stock. Reconstituted veneers are available in thin or thick banding in all common refinements. We will gladly provide you with additional details.

Wrapping and Softforming Veneers

Wrapping grade and softforming veneers with special backing enforcements and customized sanding allow the processing of complicated profiles and smallest radii. Calibrated to a minimum of 300 my, the material is easy to process. Different fleece grammages, alternative adhesives and a controlled wood moisture enhance the overall performance of the product.

Our special Glue Joint is particularly recommended for wrapping profiles on small radii. Thanks to the exceptional tensile strength, the finger joints remain closed even in the demanding wrapping process. The finger joints do not mechanically interrupt the veneer structure: the veneer adapts perfectly to the profile.

Special finishing systems allow the use of pre-grounded or pre-finished wrapping and softforming veneers. With regard to flexibility and resilience, the lacquers are optimised to meet the requirements of modern profile wrapping machines. In combination with our full-flank glue joint, the actual finger joint is virtually invisible and very smooth, even with dark stains.

Pre-finished Surfaces

Grounded or pre-finished edgebanding offers numerous advantages: it makes production more efficient and reduces the use of solvent, considerably cutting emissions.

We offer all kinds of coating systems and surfaces. State-of-the-art technology and environmentally friendly UV and hydro finishing systems ensure production to exactly your colour and gloss level samples. Simply choose the lacquer system you require. We would be happy to assist you, also on your premises, if desired.

Our Full-flank Glue Joint is particularly recommended with pre-finished edgebanding. This finger joint considerably enhances the optical quality of lacquered edges, making the finger joint virtually invisible. The lacquer does not penetrate into the cutting line, resulting in a uniform colour and a smoother surface.
