What is ambista?

ambista is the online business network for the global interiors industry. It is intended for furniture manufacturers, furniture retailers and suppliers as well as architects and interior designers. As a digital platform for communication and information, ambista gives its users direct access to 20,000 products, 4,000 business contacts and 8,000 members in addition to up-to-date industry news – 365 days a year. ambista is a digital service provided by Koelnmesse GmbH.

Who has a profile on ambista?

Everyone who is active in the interiors industry can create a free account on ambista. As an exhibitor at imm cologne, LivingKitchen, interzum or ORGATEC, you automatically receive an ambista Advanced business package as part of your marketing package.

In which languages is ambista available? How do I change the language?

ambista is available in German and English. If you are not logged in, the language can be changed using the appropriate button at the top right on the ambista website. If you are logged in, you can select your preferred language in your “My ambista” area.

How can I contact other members?

In the other member’s profile, click on “Write a message”. Select a subject from the drop-down menu and type your message into the empty text field. Then click “Send message”.

I can’t retrieve any messages.

After you created your profile, you will have received an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address and to request that you complete your profile. You will only be able to access the messages in your inbox after you have finished this step.

How can I bookmark products, companies, members, marketplace entries or magazine articles so that I can find them again more easily?

To create a bookmark, click on the grey drawing pin symbol on the relevant page. You will find your saved content in your “My ambista” area under “My bookmarks”.

How can I remove products, companies, members, marketplace entries or magazine articles from my list of bookmarks?

You can remove bookmarked products, companies, members, marketplace entries and magazine articles in your “My ambista” area by clicking on the X next to the entry you want to delete.

I’m interested in a product.

Contact the supplier of the relevant product via ambista’s messaging function.

How can I add entries on the marketplace?

Go to the “My marketplace” area. Click on "Add entry". Select the "Type of entry" and provide the additional information. Then save your entry.

How do I sign up to receive the newsletter?

If you would like to receive the latest information from ambista, click here to subscribe to our newsletter.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter.

I received ambista in connection with my participation in a trade fair. Where can I find my access data?

Before the start of the trade fair, you will have received an e-mail containing your registration information. If you have lost this information, please contact ambista Support.

I can’t log in to ambista, what should I do?

If you do not know or have forgotten your password, you can reset your password via this link.

I’ve forgotten my username.

Your username is your e-mail address. If you do not know which e-mail address you used, please contact our Support team.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, go to “My profile” in your “My ambista” area and click on the appropriate link at the bottom of the page. You will need to enter your current password first, before entering the new password twice. Save the change.

How can I edit my user profile?

It's easy to complete or modify the information in your user profile in your “My ambista” area under “My profile”.

I can’t see my profile.

After you created your profile, you will have received an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address and to request that you complete your profile. You will need to finish this step and complete your profile in full before you can see it.

How do I add a profile picture?

Go to “My profile” in your “My ambista” area and click on the placeholder image on the top right of the page. Select an image in JPG or PNG format from your computer. Don’t forget to save the change to your profile afterwards.

My user profile is not up to date.

You can change your profile information in your “My ambista” area under “Edit profile”.

I have two accounts in the same name.

If you have a duplicate account, please contact our Support team. We will delete the second account for you straightaway.

How can I delete my user profile?

To delete your user profile, please select “Edit profile” in your “My ambista” area. Click on the “Delete user account” link at the bottom of the page. A confirmation e-mail will then be sent to the e-mail address registered in your profile.

I can’t edit my company profile, why is that?

To edit the profile of your company, you must be registered as the company administrator for your business. If this is not the case, please contact ambista Support.

How do I edit the information in my company profile?

You can complete or modify the data in your company profile by clicking on “My company” in your “My ambista” area, and editing your information here.

How do I add a logo?

Go to "My company" in your "My ambista" area. Click on the company image in the top right-hand corner and select an image in JPG or PNG format from your computer. Save your profile change.

How do I change the contact person in my company profile?

Go to "My company" in your "My ambista" area. Then click on the grey pen icon at the top right. Scroll down. Type the name of the new contact person in the “Contact person” field and select the right option from the user suggestions. Save the change.

How do I change the company administrator in my company profile?

To change the company administrator, please contact our Support team.

How can I delete my company profile?

If you would like to delete your company profile, please contact our Support team.

How do I add or edit products in my company profile?

If you are the company administrator, you will see a button labelled “My products”. This is where you can add or modify your products.

How do I reactivate inactive products?

Click on the pencil icon next to the relevant product. Scroll down. Slide the toggle switch from inactive to active. Save your changes.

Can anyone add products to their company profile?

Exhibitors at the interiors trade fairs imm cologne, LivingKitchen, interzum and ORGATEC with an Advanced business package and all other users with an ambista business package can add products to their company profile. The number of active products depends on the business package that has been requested.

How can I invite employees to join my company profile?

You can add staff to your company profile by clicking on “My company” in your “My ambista” area where you can select “Invite colleagues”.

How can I delete employees from my company profile?

In the "My company" area, you can remove former colleagues from your company profile by clicking on the wastepaper basket to the right of the relevant profile.

An employee is already on ambista, but does not appear in my company profile.

Ask your colleague to select your company in his or her user profile. You can encourage the person to do this, for example, via the messaging function.

What business packages are available on ambista?

On ambista, there is a free account as well as the “Advanced”, “Premium” and “Superior” business packages that carry a charge. With the free account, you cannot add any products.

How do I change my business package on ambista?

There are two ways of doing this: switch to a different business package via your profile or directly via the business package overview.

How much do the business packages cost?

The Advanced business package costs Euro 1,499. The Premium and Superior packages are available for a fee of Euro 2,299 and Euro 2,999 respectively. All prices are valid for a 12-month term.

What payment options are available?

ambista accepts Visa, Mastercard and SEPA Direct Debit as means of payment.

What is the cancellation period on ambista?

For exhibitors, the term of the Advanced business package runs until the next trade fair of the same name. Your profile will then automatically change to a free account. There is no need to give notice. For all other users, the business package is extended for another 12 months following the expiration of the contractual term. Should you not wish to renew, you can cancel up to four weeks in advance.

How do I renew my contract?

Renew your Advanced business package here. As an exhibitor, if you do not book to participate in a trade fair's next edition, your contract will automatically end when the next edition of that trade fair begins. In all other cases, the contractual term will be automatically renewed for a further 12 months (imm cologne) or, where applicable, 24 months (LivingKitchen, interzum and ORGATEC).
