Dekton is a new material for work surfaces developed by Cosentino (known for composite brand Silestone). The range of colours on offer is gradually expanding, and besides the uniform colours, it currently also includes a number of gorgeous natural stone and concrete look-a-likes.
The Dekton production process uses techniques and materials from the ceramics, glass and composite production industries. With the application of high pressure and high temperatures, an ultra-compact mass is produced.
Dekton is available in a matt, brushed surface (satin), as well as with an X-gloss high-gloss finishing (polished). Each surface gives your kitchen a unique look, but they share a number of very practical and hygienic characteristics.
Dekton’s colour is generally very consistent. But, because it consists of natural raw materials, any differences in colour and structure compared to the colour samples can never be ruled out.
