...of sales in the cookware segment were generated by set sales in the first half of 2020. Sets accounted for 14 percent of pans, and as much as 38 percent of pots. Compared to the first half of 2019, sales of sets thus rose by 7 percent, while sales of individual pots and pans declined by 5 percent. Furniture stores and Internet retailers in particular recorded a disproportionately high share of pot and pan sets sold.

The winner, however, is online retailing, which increased its sales by 44% in the first half of the year.
